Ayurveda- The 8th Wonder of the World

Lord Brahma, the creator of this universe, created this earth in six days. The earth consisted of animals, plants and humans. But as time progressed the people started suffering from many diseases and after being aware of their miseries, Lord Brahma discovered Ayurveda, which slowly came down to earth.

Ayurveda is the knowledge of life. This knowledge teaches us various methodologies that are necessary to live a healthy and happy life. Ayurveda not only deals with the treatment of the diseased body but also teaches us to maintain the healthy body. The methods are so effective that many people have gained extreme benefits from Ayurveda.

There are many books written by great sages to spread the knowledge of Ayurveda. Books like Susruta Samhita, charka Samhita and ashtanga samgrah are known as the pillars of the Ayurvedic world. These books contain an invaluable knowledge and insight to the world of wisdom and Ayurveda. The focus of Ayurveda is not just on the growth of mind of an individual but also to work for the betterment of his health, both physical and mental.

Ayurveda examines a patients body in great detail, and various examinations are done to reach to a consensus and to diagnose the cause of a disease. The best place to carry out this holistic approach of treatment is Kerala. Kerala is blessed with many best Ayurvedic Colleges in India where one can learn various international therapies like Thai Massage course, Rope Massage course and sound healing of the body with Tibetan singing bowls.

The 4-week Ayurvedic course consists of theoretical sessions where one can learn the authentic, meaningful and theoretical knowledge about various practices and massage therapies of Ayurveda. In practical sessions, the students learn to apply the theoretical knowledge into practice and multiple techniques of massage, oil massage, dry massage with herbal powders and Nasal Medication for relaxation and cleansing of the head. One can study all these techniques and knowledge from Ayurvedic colleges in India.

After the training, a person can open his clinic or Ayurveda hospital. He can also put his theoretical knowledge of herbs and Ayurvedic oils and plants by manufacturing the Ayurvedic products and medicines or can become a therapist or a yoga expert. Moreover, Ayurveda is cost effective as well.
